Christmas in Maryland

Just a few December happenings before we made our way to Washington for Christmas.

One of the first events was our 2nd annual hot cocoa party. This year's menu included sugar cookies, peppermint bark, and pumpkin cupcakes.

We also made a backdrop that Buttons is modeling below.

We had an ugly sweater party and work. The five of us who participated decided to get a group picture by the lobby's Christmas tree. This is our Whoville-inspired Christmas picture.

Also, no Christmas would be complete if we didn't put Buttons in her Santa suit.

Here's our Christmas tree. I told Holland that we needed to set it up even though we weren't spending Christmas at home. We maybe just barely took it down.
